Where is the Valley Cinema located in the photo?

From: pebble (Mon Jan 9 17:47:42 2006)
looking for Francis Mahone Deaconess Hospital......

From: PhotoGirl (Fri Jan 20 10:57:24 2006)
The cinema is not in the picture...it would be dead center on the right, directly off the picture.

FMDH is on the very bottom, just right of center. You can only see the parking log and the very tip of the roof corner. It is directly to the left of the swimming pool, across the street.

THe cinema is in the picture, find the post office, it is right across the street, it is just smaller than what you are looking for.

The South Side School was torn down ... anyone remember when?

When are they going to make the owner of the old Texaco station on the main highway, clean up that fenced in mess? The fence and old gas station are an eyesore.

The old town just "ain't" what it used to be! Miss Alan's cafe, Mary's cafe, Ken's club. I go way back. Glasgow was a "good time town" in those days.

I was stationed at the Glasgow AFB in 1966-68. DOes anyone have any pictures of that era? What have they done to the old base? I would love to hear comments.Scotty

As a member of the GAFB Little Theatre Groupe, we performed a melodrama at the Ft Peck Theater in May, 1968. Glad to see a pix posted to the site. GREAT to see.

I used to live in Glasgow(last year) but i moved to Butte, I used to go to East Side Elementery School and i can't figure out where it is, or my house(i lived with my grandma)

From: Cloudcity (Fri Aug 24 07:48:15 2007)
The title of the photo is very misleading. The photo shows only a portion of Glasgow's south side and none of the northside/eastside what-so-ever.
However, for what is shown...it is a fine photograph.

Nice pic. I can dig it. May relocate to Glasgow or Glendive.

Response to Scotty: GAFB is now St. Marie MT. I recently drove through and only a few people live there. most of the houses have fallen into ruin.

I spent 4 yrs, 64-68 at the base and even though the winters were terrible I hated to leave. you can find great pics on line or I'd be glad to send anyone a few. Bigjer22@aol.com
